Sleeping in snow-covered fields 
Unsure of what’s meant to be 
A fading memory  
Of something that’s lost within me  

Cared by ivory figures 
Lost thoughts clouding my mind 
A purpose for staying 
Has never been before my eyes  

What’s been so long 
Feels forever gone
 And I can’t hold on anymore  

I think I miss you
 No idea if it’s true 
As my emotions leave the shore

  My memories fade away 
Along with all I wanted to say
 I can see your silver outline in my vision

  It tears into my soul 
Leaving only hollow molds
 As the image of you abandons my mission

  Shades of a past forgotten 
Colorless shapes among them
 It pains me to say,  It was never there to start with, I wonder  

Why can’t I see the past again 
A long lost story wasn’t there 
It’s almost as if I myself was lost all along  

From white to red to black 
Nothing ever takes me back 
Alone, lost, and scared
 Thought that at least someone cared

  This haunted memory is scarring me
 It renders through eternity

 Is to be whole again
